A Plan For Everyone!
In order to meet your campus dining needs, we have designed the following meal plans for the 2016 – 2017 academic year. Meal plans can only by changed during the first two weeks of each semester.
These plans are specifically designed for our on campus residents. These plans are available to all students. Meal Swipes are used in Marina Dining Hall. Dining Dollars may be used at any campus dining location. Resident Dining Plans are purchased via the Bursar's Office.

UB ON THE GO - COMMUTER BLOCK PLANS
Not sure how often you'll dine on campus? With a pool of meals you can use over the semester, a block plan provides ultimate flexibility. All UB on the Go plans come with a complimentary membership for our Choose to Reuse program! Meals are for use in Marina Dining Hall. Dining Dollars may be used at any campus dining location.

Flex points are declining balance dollars that you can add to your dining account. These can be used in any campus dining location. They are purchases separately from your meal plan and are similar to dining dollars. Flex points carry over from semester to semester. When dining in Mariner Dining Hall with Flex points, you will save $1.00 off the cash door rate.

Having Trouble Selecting a Meal Plan?
Try considering your daily routine. Do you eat three meals a day? Will your class schedule, studying, extracurricular activities and social events interfere with dining? Will you miss dinner due to employment or evening classes? Anticipating the answers to these and similar questions will help you select a meal plan that best fits your lifestyle.
In most cases your UB identification card will be the Meal Card. The UB card has a bar code printed on its back for Dining Services Purposes. To activate your meal plan you need to check with Residence Life and the Bursar's Office to make sure that your account is active.
Lost Your Meal Card?Simply contact us and Campus Security. In most cases Campus Security will re-issue a replacement card within 24 hours.
Seconds Anyone?You never have to be too shy to ask for seconds with our Campus Dining program. Our generous policy allows for a second helping of many menu favorites. All you have to do is ask. Please note, however, that there are some exceptions to our Seconds Policy including: Premium items and Specialty Buffets.
Dietary Requirements and Sick Trays

Sick Trays are also available for students with a Meal Plan. If you are feeling under the weather and would like to order a sick tray, please contact Health Services for more information.
Dining Policies and Procedures
One of our main goals is to provide a pleasant, clean, comfortable and satisfying dining experience. In order to meet this goal, we need your help in adhering to the following procedures:
- Please remove all of your dirty dishes and silverware to the dish return area. Please leave your table clean and cleared of debris when you have finished dining.
- Please refrain from taking food dishes or utensils from the dining area.
- Remember that Meal Cards are non-transferable. Meal Cards cannot be used by anyone but the purchaser.
- Please help us minimize waste, although Marina services unlimited seconds, please adhere to the one serving at a time policy.
